This trip focused on the rich history of Presbyterian involvement in the Kingdom work there. In a country where the church today is growing in unparalleled ways, they met with partners in Shanghai, Beijing, and the provinces of Shandong and Jiangsu to discern how God’s Spirit has worked in the past and is working today through a dynamic and vital church. Peter Lim, The Outreach Foundation’s China Mission Specialist, led part of this trip.

The China Network of the Presbyterian Church is a forum through which Presbyterians can cooperate with each other as they seek to be in partnership with and serve the church in China and Chinese Society.
Through the Network, Presbyterians in the USA can exchange their learning, visions and plans for partnership in China. Members seek to act respectfully of others within the Network and to find a common ground for collaboration. They will share a commitment to the unity and well being of the church in China, and to building up the capacity of Presbyterian congregations to engage in beneficial partnerships with the Chinese church .
